2017 (Present) — Matthew & Nikki Devonald

Our family moved to Manitoba from Wales, UK in 2009. We started out a few miles south of McCreary, but in 2013, we moved to the south west corner of the RM of Lakeshore where we keep cattle. On May 1, 2017, we took over Parkland Septic Service from Dave & Elaine Benson, and on February 1, 2024, we also purchased Septic-O from Curt Mosionier upon his retirement. We wish Curt all the best for his retirement, and we aim to continue great service to all his customers. We look forward to meeting you all over the coming weeks and months.

1988 — Dave & Elaine Benson

Dave & Elaine Benson (Dave's Septic Service) purchased Parkland Septic Service from Diana McIntyre in June 1988. They operated both businesses together as Dave's Parkland Septic Service until the retirement of their hired driver in 2017, when the decision was made to sell the original Parkland Septic Service part of the business. Dave and Elaine continue to operate Dave's Septic Service. Each business covers a different geographical area, although Dave and Matthew continue to work together when necessary to help each other out. If you require septic service, or portable toilet rentals in the McCreary, Alonsa, Silver Ridge, Kinosota, Amaranth, Kelwood, Riding Mountain and areas in between, please contact Dave on 204-835-2519.

1977 — Darrell & Diana McIntyre

In 1977, Darrell & Diana McIntyre of Ochre River decided to start their own septic service business.  Together they came up with a name and created 'Parkland Septic Service'.

Darrell's strong work ethic and dedication in providing excellent customer service was enhanced by his rapport and connection with everyone he interacted with.  These attributes led to a business that covered a large part of the Parkland area.

Diana was the lead bookkeeper, but also enjoyed opportunities to jump into the truck with Darrell and their sons on those emergency evening calls so the family could spend more time together.

Sadly, Darrell passed away in a work-related accident in 1987.  With the help of her brothers and brothers-in-law, Diana kept the business running until June 1988 when it was sold to Dave & Elaine Benson.
